Attention Engaged Couples!

Marriage Preparation begins Tuesday September 14th at 6:30pm in the parish center room 1. These sessions are seven weeks long and are based on Church teaching and Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.  The sessions will finish on October 26th. Our Marriage Prep is for all couples planning to get married at St. Joseph’s or at other parishes. All couples planning to get married at St. Joseph’s are required to attend. Please call the parish office to schedule an initial meeting with Fr. Todd and to sign up for the class contact Rolando Moreno at the parish office as well (503) 581-1623

 

2009-2010 Armatus Volunteer courses

If you are volunteering or will be volunteering with the parish this coming year, and will be working with minors 4 or more times, the Archdiocese is requiring that you complete one course with Armatus (an internet-based abuse prevention training program). *Volunteer ministers are needed for the weekend masses. If you can help with the different ministries of the mass, such as altar serving, reading, being a Extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, ushering, or setting up for the mass, please contact Jason Markowski at the Parish Office to get scheduled.

 

*Volunteer Extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist are needed for Home & Hospital Communion. If you can volunteer your time to help take communion to the homes and hospital of those who are unable to make it to the mass, please contact Jason Markowski at the Parish Office to get scheduled.
