Energy Trust of Oregon’s Living Wise program

Dear Sixth Grade Parents,

In this age of conservation, recycling, reusing, reducing, and renewing our Earth’s natural resources, I came upon a program that encourages students to make Living Wise (water and energy) choices with regard to their environment.  I am asking your support of your child as we begin instruction of this program in our classroom.  This program is free and includes workbooks and a $60 value Living Wise Activity kit for your home use.

We have a cut off date of October 31, 2011 for receiving a $100 mini grant, on the condition that our class returns eighty percent of the scantron’s.  That means I will need the scantron’s returned to me no later than October 24, 2011.This program encourages your child to efficiently use water and engergy, which will become more important with time, and teaches him/her to be a good steward of God’s creation.

I want to thank you ahead of time for considering the implementation of this program in your home, if you have , keep up the good work of conserving our natural resources.

Blessings,

Sr. Mary Ann
