To write a paragraph that includes: a main idea with three or more details that support the main idea
To use the writing process: brainstorming, prewriting, composing, revising, editing, and publishing
To know and apply editing skills
To write friendly and business letters
To apply and use good speaking skills: enunciation, diction and projection

Spelling

Math

To know the place value
To use estimating skills: rounding to greatest, least, and front end
To know how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals
To identify and measure various geometric figures: angles, perimeter, and volume
To use and apply measurement: inches, feet, yards, meters, centimeters, kilometers, etc.

To know the scientific method and apply it when solving a science problem, or experiment
