Generations of children have been educated and formed in the Catholic faith at St. Joseph School. This tradition began 145 years ago with Sacred Heart Academy and continues today with St. Joseph School. The school teaches the fullness of the Catholic faith so children who enter our classrooms develop a deep and strong Catholic identity.
St. Joseph School has always relied on your generous support, and this year is no exception. First and foremost, the school needs your prayers. We realize the economy and times are lean, but we ask that you give what you can to support our school. These monetary gifts may be made in honor of someone or in memory of a loved one. Your prayer and gifts help provide an education that may change a child’s life forever.
The Annual Fund Campaign begins today. This year we need $28,000 to maintain our General Operating Fund and Endowment fund. The General Operating Fund support the general maintenance and running of the school. The Endowment Fund provides needs based scholarships.
An envelope is attached for your gift and/or pledge. You may make your gift in one lump sum, or you may make quarterly or monthly installments. Another way to contribute to the school is through the pink envelopes you receive in your parish collection envelope packet.
Your gift represents an essential building block for the healthy futures of our students and our parish community. We hope to count you among the chief architects that are building a strong education for our children.
Last year our students provided many community service hours to our parish and our community. Our school volunteers logged in hundreds of volunteer hours. We are a school community with generous supporters.
St. Joseph provides Spanish, computer, music, library and physical education instruction bi-weekly for our students. A Title I Reading Resource teacher and Speech teacher are provided by the Salem-Keizer School District.
Your Support makes our school stronger and provides a quality Catholic education for children. Your prayers and gifts are a vote of confidence in St. Joseph School and its mission. This support also provides encouragement for faculty, staff and students.
